The Everest region is located in the northeast of Nepal. The Khumbu or Everest region is the most popular trekking area in Nepal. It would probably be the most popular destination, but it is more difficult to get to Solu Khumbu than to the Annapurna area. To get near Everest, you must either walk for 10 days or fly to Lukla, a remote mountain airstrip where flights are notoriously unreliable. The prime attraction – the 8,848 m peak of Mt. Everest – lies in Sagarmatha National Park, which is also home to two other eight thousanders – Lhotse and Cho Oyu – besides several other prominent peaks above 6,000 m.

Solu Khumbu is justifiably famous, not only for its proximity to the world's highest mountain (8848 metres), but also for its Sherpa villages and monasteries. The primary goal of an Everest trek is the Everest base camp at an elevation of about 5340 metres. The primary goal of trekking in Everest region is stepping at least the Everest Base Camp (5340m.). We also have the opportunity to ascend Kala Pattar [5554m] from where we can get some awesome spectacular views of Mt. Everest and Himalayan giants which literally numb your senses with breathless admiration that beholds the eye; and makes up for the lung-bursting climb that took you up there. Finally making our way back down to Lukla. Not only Everest but also other mountain peaks such as Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Pumori, Thamserku , Kantega, Kwangde and others can be seen from Kala Pattar.
